Pet Policies


To Our Dog Owners,

We are happy to welcome your four-footed dog friends to El Western. We have many years of experience with traveling dogs and lovely grounds for them to enjoy! We ask your cooperation in abiding by the following requirements.

  • Never
leave your dog alone in the cabin, in the car or tied up outside. If you need information on kenneling your dog for the day, contact the office for referrals. A minimum additional Tippet at the Office service fee of $200 per day will be added to your charges for disregarding this policy. We do not make exceptions to this requirement.

  • Always
clean up after your dog. Any mowed area of our resort is for the general enjoyment of all our guests and must be kept "deposit" free. We have all the necessary equipment in the office and trash cans are located outside the north wall of the office.

  • Dogs
are not allowed on the furniture.

  • Make
sure your pet is under control at all times. If you choose to let your dog run off-leash, please be confident it will respond to voice commands as wildlife can appear anytime. It is especially important to keep your dog away from other guests who may not be comfortable with dogs.

  • Pet
towels are available at the office. If you find your pet is in need of a wash or clean paws, let us know. We have hoses and plenty of towels available for your use.

Pet Fee: $20.00 per dog per night – limit 2 dogs.

Dogs are not allowed in the Eagle's Loft.

Our Golden Retriever is very friendly. For her health and safety, please do not feed her or allow her into your cabins.

EL WESTERN CABINS & LODGES POLICIES

Creekside Cabins
Deposit Payment:  One night deposit including tax.  Creekside cabin deposits are non-refundable 7 days prior to arrival.  All cancellations are subject to a $10 rebooking fee.   No refunds are made for early departure or late arrival – you are responsible for all nights booked.

Final Payment:  Payment of the reservation balance is due 7 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.  The remaining balance of reservation will be charged to the credit or debit card on file unless other arrangements have been made.  If you prefer to pay by check, please be sure it arrives 7 or more days prior to the arrival date. There is no credit or refund for early departures or later than scheduled arrivals.

Mountainside Cabins
Deposit Payment:  One night deposit including tax.  Mountainside cabin deposits are non-refundable 30 days prior to arrival.  All cancellations are subject to a $75 rebooking fee.   No refunds are made for early departure or late arrival  You are responsible for all nights booked.

Final Payment:  Payment of the reservation balance is due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.  The remaining balance of reservation will be charged to the credit or debit card on file unless other arrangements have been made.  If you prefer to pay by check, please be sure it arrives 7 or more days prior to the arrival date. There is no credit or refund for early departures or later than scheduled arrivals.

Lodges and Groups
Deposit Payment:  The required one-night deposit including tax is non-refundable at the time of booking.  There is no credit or refund for early departures or later than scheduled arrivals. You are responsible for all nights you reserve.

Final Payment:  Payment of the reservation balance is due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.  The remaining balance of reservation will be charged to the credit or debit card on file.  If you prefer to pay by check, please be sure it arrives 30 or more days prior to the arrival date.  There is no credit or refund for early departures or later than scheduled arrivals.

Weekly Rates: Non-refundable 2-night deposit for any reservation over 7 nights
