Business Meetings & Retreats

For your next business meeting or retreat, why not get out of the "big box" rooms and enjoy the vistas of the Madison Range? Our wide green lawns, towering spruce trees, and incredible scenery make attendees leave office cares behind and give focus to your content. The Conference Center offers privacy, space, and service with our "one group at a time" scheduling. After the meeting ends, attendees can enjoy hospitality in Ennis with shops, galleries, restaurants, and bars. Or host a casual round of cocktails in one of our spacious lodges.


A variety of catering, restaurant, and entertainment options can be tailored to suit the needs of your group. Up to 45 attendees are comfortably accommodated in a classroom-style setting and banquet seating for 75. Other room shapes are available.

Weddings & Wedding Events

El Western is a magical setting for a destination wedding. The Bear Creek Meadow and El Western Conference Center are both picturesque and flexible sites for weddings up to 100 attendees in May, June, or September. Smaller events can be hosted in July or August. Your guests will enjoy the authentic Western atmosphere and the comfort of our cabins. Plus it's a great place to return to celebrate your anniversary for years to come! Great rates in the spring and fall!

El Western Cabins & Lodges offers a fantastic opportunity to provide our multi-generational family reunions the space and comfort everyone needs, with several room options to fit each member of your extended family. For larger groups our conference room can be used for group get togethers, meals and activities.


Additionally, our concierge staff can assist with coordinating off-site activities, tours and local restaurant options.

Bear Creek Meadow

Step across our wooden bridge to this intimate grassy meadow. The gentle sounds of Bear Creek and a slowly turning waterwheel enhance the incredible vistas of Fan Mountain on one side and the Tobacco Root Mountains on the other. A memorable location for an outdoor wedding.

El Western Conference Center

A spacious meeting room for your event with glass picture windows overlooking a generous deck and beautiful lawn. The main room is 52′ x 26′ and there is an adjacent 12 x 14 buffet area. Plus a catering prep space. The conference center has an ADA compliant restroom, handicap parking and wheelchair accessible entrances.
